For the eighth time, the Weissensee Art Fair opened its doors on the last weekend of July. 90 international exhibitors took part. The exhibitions included all facets of ceramics, products made of glass and leather, felt and textiles, metal and stone, and artistic work from wood.

 A "Capital" Carp: 24.48 kg - 87 cm
On Weissensee in Carinthia's natural arena, local fisherman Peter Gratzer made the catch of his life on the weekend of 1 June. He managed to hook a mirror carp with a record weight of 24.48 kg and length of 87 cm.
