Enjoyable running

Get into shape on 12 running trails around Lake Weissensee. All trails are measured and colour-coded, and information boards make it easy to get your bearings. Each detail is planned down to a T: you will find bars for stretching at the beginning and end of each trail, exercise boards with heart rate guidelines and stretching tips, and information boards with elevation profiles and levels of difficulty.

Plus, there is even an info guide with tips and detailed descriptions. Learn proper technique and exchange with other running enthusiasts at weekly meet ups for beginners and advanced runners. Fitness trainer Wolfgang will be happy to share running tips and tricks with you. These meet ups are free for all visitors.

Nordic Walking in the Nature Park Weissensee

Nordic walking, running, mountain biking and healthy hiking in the great outdoors - Nordic walking is a unique experience at Lake Weissensee in Carinthia, Austria.

9 Nordic Walking Trails in all degrees of difficulty have been created on existing forest trails, in clearings and along the lakeshore. All trails are measured and colour-coded, and information boards help you get your bearings.

No detail has been left out: bars for stretching can be found at the beginning and end of each trail (after all, every athlete knows how important it is to warm up and cool down). Exercise boards display heart rate guidelines and stretching tips, and information boards include elevation profiles and levels of difficulty.

You will even find an info guide with more detailed descriptions. Everyone is invited to join weekly Nordic walking tours. Fitness trainer Wolfgang will fill you in on what you need to know about this sport. These tours are free for all visitors.
