When the second general store in Grafendorf closed in 1999, the population, like in so many other small villages, was left without a local supplier and was forced to take long trips for every little thing.
The great wish of the community was to have a local supplier in the village again, and so the people of Grafendorf took matters into their own hands. What began in April 2001 is now celebrating its 25th anniversary, showing what can be achieved together with determination and effort.
