Crystal-clear water, visibility up to 30 metres and fascinating light effects: Dives in winter have a special charm. If you are looking for an extraordinary experience, ice diving at Lake Weissensee is one of the best opportunities to enjoy something unforgettable on your holiday.
From mid-December, Europe's largest and solid frozen natural sheet of ice becomes the starting point for winter dives.
Two providers, one on the east and one on the west shore of Lake Weissensee, will take you into the depths of the lake! Ice diving courses and training to become an ice diving instructor are available at any time by appointment.
TIP: ICE DIVING WEEKENDS
The legendary Ice Diving Weekends take place every year. Due to the great demand, registrations should be submitted at least ten months in advance!
