MOUNTAINBIKEN

Spezielle Mountainbike-Transportsessel bringen Sie und Ihr Bike bequem zum Ausgangspunkt auf der Naggler Alm. Dort finden Sie mehrere Möglichkeiten in Richtung Tal abzufahren. Wählen Sie zwischen der legendären Tour 5 oder drei Trail-Strecken, inklusive Wurzelwegen, Wellenbahnen, Steilkurven und vielem mehr.

Special mountain bike transport chairs take you and your bike comfortably to the starting point on the Naggler Alm. There you will find several options for descending towards the valley. Choose between the legendary Tour 5 or three trail routes, including root trails, wave tracks, banked curves and much more.

A natural pump track area incl. practice stations in the area of the mountain railway lower terminus complement the comprehensive mountain bike programme, and a designated mountain bike cleaning facility at the end makes the bike shine like new again. Connecting routes to the Gailtal Valley Alps and the Carnic Alps open up an El Dorado boasting a total of 800 km of signposted MTB routes.

RUNNING & NORDIC WALKING

Around Lake Weissensee you will find 22 well-signposted Nordic walking and running routes with different requirement profiles. The high-altitude route "Naggler Alm Circular Trail" (Trail 9) is particularly recommended, because - as scientists have clearly proven - it offers an extra portion of health and joie de vivre. The easiest way to reach the starting point is by taking the Weissensee mountain railway or a more challenging route via Trail 8 "Naggler Alm - Alpine Walking".

HUTS & SPECIAL PLACES

Our alpine huts, located along trails that start at the upper terminus of the Weissensee mountain railway, guarantee not only magnificent views, but also particularly natural and regional taste experiences. Sample the delicacies of Carinthian cuisine: from alpine cheese at the Hermagorer Bodenalm to blackberry pancakes at the Naggler Alm. In addition, along the trails you will constantly come across special places such as the “Wegweiser für Morgen” (Signpost to Tomorrow) or the “Weissensee-Mobiliar” (Weissensee Furniture).
