Following the Tracks of Forest Glass

Our nature park ranger provides information and answers your questions directly at the archaeological excavation site of an old glass furnace about 255 years of history of this special place. Not only will you learn about relics from an era of the rise and fall of glass production, but the nature park ranger will also tell you about the unique flora and fauna of the nature park, their habitats, and the protection of this special landscape.
Dive into the long-forgotten world of glassmakers and learn more about the creation and life around the "forest glass".
