Willibald Adrian Metzger finds himself in the middle of the literary scene this time: A dead sausage manufacturer, a mysterious bestseller author, and spectacularly staged crimes lead the restorer into a case that is as bizarre as it is intricately constructed. Between wordplay, social criticism, and dark humor, Thomas Raab combines crime fiction and literary satire into an original reading pleasure. Thomas Raab, born in 1970 in Vienna, studied mathematics and sports, worked for ten years as a teacher as well as in the musical and music theater sector, and toured as a singer-songwriter. In 2006, he created the character of the restorer Willibald Adrian Metzger, from which his debut novel The Butcher has to Detention arose. Since then, Raab has been a freelance writer, screenwriter, columnist, and musician. He lives with his family in Vienna and is passionate about traveling by train.
