Egger Alm - Gasthof Zur Alten Käserei

With its idyllic huts and a homecoming chapel, the Egger Alm can definitely be called an alpine village. The alpine area extends over a high valley with an alpine lake. The well-signposted lake loop trail leads through the bump meadows with their lush vegetation and invites all generations to explore. Alpine products: Gailtaler Almkäse g.U., Schotten, alpine butter, hard cheese, soft cheese, cream cheese, yogurt

There is a children's playground and accommodation available in the alpine hut. A guided tour of the cheese factory and the stable is possible with prior registration.
