Magical Moments - "Stargazing" in the Weißensee Nature Park
The starry sky has always held a special fascination for people. In the nature park region, stars shine even brighter due to the few artificial light sources. Let our nature park rangers enchant you with the power of the heavens during a nighttime snowshoe hike. Afterwards, you will be spoiled culinary at the Naggler Alm.
Experience the unique world of the starry sky. The area around the Weißensee Nature Park is one of the regions with the least light pollution in Carinthia.
Accompanied by a nature park ranger, you will take the Weißensee mountain railway to the family ski area and walk to the Naggler Alm. From there, the hike leads through the alpine area, where you will receive basic information about the nature park – including a starry sky with a breathtaking panoramic view. A culinary break will follow at the Naggler Alm. With regional specialties directly by the campfire and in a cozy atmosphere, hikers will strengthen themselves before continuing the nighttime hike into the valley.
