The magic of Christmas: Saint Nicholas and the Krampus

As night falls, the sound of cowbells and flickering torches announces the arrival of the terrifying Krampus, escorting Saint Nicholas through Tarvisio and its villages. Tradition comes to life: good children receive sweets, the naughty ones get a warning, and fear blends with fun in the snowy streets.
Tarvisio – 5:00 PM parade from Via Dante, Via Veneto, Via Roma, show in Piazza Unità and arrival of Saint Nicholas with sweet bread for children.
Tarvisio C.le – 5:30 PM food stands with mulled wine, tea and soup. 6:30 PM Krampus torchlight parade, bonfire and house visits.
Camporosso – 5:00 PM parade from the woods to St. Dorothea Church and celebrations with mulled wine, tea and sweets.
Fusine in Valromana – 1:30 PM parade from Via dei Laghi, bonfire at 5:30 PM in front of the church.
Malborghetto – 6:00 PM torchlight parade, arrival of Saint Nicholas in the main square, sweets for everyone.
Rutte Piccolo – 8:30 PM bonfire, parade from the woods and mulled wine with goulash for all.
