Theaterabend "Ich, Judas, der Sündenbock"

In his play “I, a Jew – Defense Speech of Judas Iscariot” (original title), Walter Jens gives voice to the traitor Judas as a deeply torn individual who was sincerely convinced of Jesus' mission but becomes disappointed in his expectations and feelings over the course of their shared history.

“I, Judas, the Scapegoat” is being reinterpreted as a monodrama with Peppe Mairginter in an extended adaptation by Alfred Meschnigg.
