The band "Grandmother Hatz," founded in 2009, is characterized by its stylistic openness and musical adventurous spirit. The ensemble combines elements from Klezmer, Balkan music, jazz, pop, and traditional folk music to express joy of life and musical flexibility. The VIA audience became acquainted with "Grandmother Hatz" in 2019 in Oberdrauburg and in 2022 at the Kötschach train station.
The amateur orchestra "Walletschek" represents musical diversity, creative forms of expression, and communal music-making at a high level, with around 20 accordionists of all ages. The concert showcases inexhaustible inspiration and is also a wonderful, enriching collaboration.
