For over 20 years, Georg Gratzer and Klemens Bittmann have indulged in their passion for the art of duo playing. Starting with G. Ph. Telemann, the pop star of Baroque music, the two ride furiously through a musical parallel universe with Piazzolla, McLaughlin, Elvis, and masterpieces of film music. Their crossover style and instrumentation (including the Indian bamboo flute bansuri) are unique and irresistible – a sound adventure in the truest sense of the word. YouTube video
This evening celebrates two anniversaries: Helga Pöcheim has been leading the Via Iulia August cultural summer for 15 years, and the host Alpen Adria Energie has every reason to celebrate as well: The energy pioneers have been operating as a family business for 140 years.
