A homage to Ingeborg Bachmann on her 100th birthday.
The selection of texts places the philosopher Ingeborg Bachmann at the center – a previously little-noted aspect of her literary and essayistic work. In combination with the improvisational sound language and the compositions of Edgar Unterkirchner, an atmospherically dense dialogue between word and music arises.

VIA-Extra, starting at 6.00 p.m.
Before the concert, a new documentary about Ingeborg Bachmann will be shown, currently produced by Barbara Frank for ORF and ARTE. The Carinthian saxophonist Edgar Unterkirchner composes and produces the music for it. The film provides a sensitive approach to the life and thoughts of the author before her texts resonate with the music in the literature concert.
