Help the reed – together for a healthy lakeshore
Non-native plants like impatiens glandulifera, solidago canadensis or reynoutria japonica are a big challenge for the nature park lake Weissensee.
These plants grow fast und have low demands. So, they quickly occupy new habitats and suppress local vegetation.
It is our goal to fight these plants at least along the shore. Get to know more about the effects of invasive neophytes and help us in their control. Get a Carinthian snack for your support.
